The NanoString nCounter digital molecular barcoding technology enables highly multiplexed, quantitative measurement of analytes of interest (DNA, RNA, miRNA, or protein) from a wide variety of sample formats with easy to use experimental protocols. The Applications team is seeking a highly motivated Scientist I to leverage the NanoString platform to molecularly characterize biological samples to support collaborations and internal development efforts. This person will be responsible for performing experiments independently (including preparing samples, running nCounter and additional assays, and analyzing multiplexed, multi-analyte data) and working with the team to interact with collaborators and prepare results for presentation and publication. This person will be expected to have subject expertise in immunology or oncology and a working knowledge of immuno-oncology therapeutic strategies. We estimate that this position will require 70% benchwork/30% deskwork.
